Per OttossonChief Executive Officer
Per Ottosson joined Artificial Solutions in November 2020 as CEO; his extensive background within AI and software sales is an strategic asset for the company in order to strengthen channel partnerships, develop strategic alliances and expand the international sales presence to accelerate our global growth.
Per has thirty years of senior management experience, including a decade within conversational AI-solutions, most recently at IPsoft as Chief Revenue Officer. Previous roles also include Director at Hewlett-Packard (responsible for the Software Division in Western Europe), vice president at BMC software (responsible for Northern Europe and France) and country manager Sweden at EMC.
Per studied computer and life science at SSHL and earned a master’s in finance at the Stockholm School of Economics. He lives with his wife and children near Stockholm, Sweden.
Andy PeartChief Marketing & Strategy Officer
Andy is responsible for the strategic positioning of Artificial Solutions in the wider natural language and AI marketplace. With over 25 years experience in managing marketing operations for sector-leading software and services companies in the UK, Europe and US, he excels in creating effective campaigns that help to accelerate the growth of the business.
Andy established his career with engineering software specialist PAFEC and went on to hold executive marketing management roles at software companies including ACT, Kalamazoo and Magic Software. He was CMO at London Stock Exchange-listed Mediasurface, where he was part of the executive management team that led various successful acquisitions and the subsequent sale of the company to Alterian. He went on to oversee marketing operations at Alterian as VP Marketing and joined the senior management team of Artificial Solutions in 2010.
A regular speaker at industry conferences and events, Andy delivers insight on the rise of AI, the challenges businesses face and the future of the natural language, conversational UI.
Andreas WiewegChief Technology Officer
Andreas leads Artificial Solutions’ product strategy, design and development for the company’s next generation natural language interaction platform.
Andreas is responsible for Artificial Solutions’ technology vision and product strategy, for product design and development, for quality assurance and documentation. Under Andreas’s leadership, Artificial Solutions’ product portfolio has successfully grown to include a wide range of applications in areas such as language technology, voice automation, search technology, knowledge management, virtual avatars, email management, live-chat, SMS services, and analytics. All these developments are part of the company’s Teneo platform which enables Artificial Solutions to deliver multi-channel, self-service solutions and multi-channel, contact center solutions.
Andreas’s educational background is in engineering and he has been a key player in taking Artificial Solutions from a small start-up company to today’s international thought leader, thanks to his keen sense for market needs and technology solutions.
Fredrik TörgrenChief Financial Officer
Fredrik joined Artificial Solutions in October 2020 as CFO and will be a key part of the leadership team driving the company's progress.
Fredrik’s most recently role was as CFO at Inteno Group and has 20 years of experience from various senior financial, business development, M&A and capital markets roles within Ericsson, as Corporate Finance Director at Handelsbanken Capital Markets and as an investor at, among others, Provider Venture Partners and Swedfund.
Prior to Inteno Group, Fredrik was at Ericsson where he led the IT & Cloud Services Business Area Finance operations including M&A activity. Other senior roles include positions with Swedfund, Handelsbanken Capital Markets and Provider Venture Partners.
Peter RoostChief Operating Officer
Peter has successfully worked in senior leadership roles within the European IT industry for 25 years, ranging from an ERP software and professional services business, a tier 1 System Integrator and a public company providing CAD/CAM solutions to global manufacturing.
As Chief Operating Officer at Artificial Solutions he is responsible for all post-sales functions including Customer implementations, Professional Services, Support & Maintenance, Hosting & IT, Education & Training, Best Practices plus Legal and Commercial support for the entire business.
Peter believes the Teneo platform will transform customer businesses through the use of Natural Language technology, where our flexible and adaptive approach to optimise such deployments is central to achieving significantly valuable outcomes through long-term customer partnerships.
Russ TarrGlobal Head of Sales
Russ Tarr is Global Head of Sales at Artificial Solutions. He is a successful and highly entrepreneurial strategic partnerships/business development leader with 20 years’ experience of building new revenue streams, partnership channels and teams in disruptive and innovation led start-ups and large enterprise organisations which include American Express, PayPal and Mobileway/Mobile365. He has particular commercial expertise in Conversational Artificial Intelligence and Digital Payments. Prior to his current role at Artificial Solutions Russ created and built out our global Strategic Partnerships organisation which has resulted in partnerships with companies such as Accenture, KPMG, Cognizant and Deloitte.
Russ lives with his family in Kent, England, and is a Scout Leader in his local village. He loves physical and mental challenges and served as a Section Commander in the British Army Reserves gaining invaluable experience of leading a team in extremely challenging situations.
Dave ParsinVP Sales - North America
Dave Parsin has over 25 years of software industry experience predominantly with disruptive technologies and in emerging markets. He has worked across all customer-facing organizations, including senior roles in sales, marketing and international business development at Oracle, Agile Software, Sun Microsystems, and Mitek Systems. In addition, Dave was a co-founder of two businesses: STG, a marketing services provider to the eBay marketplace (2003-2005), and givezooks!, a social commerce platform (2008-2011) that was sold to Salsa Labs in 2014.
Dave joined Artificial Solutions in 2013 to run their North American operations (based in SF Bay Area). He holds an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, an MBA from Harvard University, and was a member of the 1987 & 1988 NCAA Baseball National Champions at Stanford. He’s also been a long-time triathlon coach (in his spare time) for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program.
Darren FordVP Global Customer Services
Darren Ford is Vice President Global Customer Services. Darren has over twenty years of experience managing teams that deploy complex Customer Experience platforms for multinational customers across a variety of industries. After graduating with a degree at the University of Plymouth in (BSc) Business Information Management Systems, he worked at Oracle Corporation within the EMEA Enterprise Consulting practice. He then moved to become VP Services for the Customer Engagement platform division at SDL PLC, responsible for Consulting teams implementing Web, E-Commerce and Document Management solutions.
Darren joined Artificial Solutions in January 2016 as a member of the Senior Management Team responsible for all implementation services including customer projects, partner support and best practice, ensuring Artificial Solutions and implementation partners deploy premium referenceable solutions. Passionate about customer success, business value and sharing successful innovations, Darren is also an Executive Sponsor on project boards for strategic customer and partner programs to facilitate the expedited delivery of highly intelligent production deployments.
Gareth WaltersVP Innovation & Community
Gareth Walters is Vice President of Innovation and Community. He graduated with a B.Eng and MSc in Engineering from Cardiff University and went on to Master Schedule aerospace production of landing gear and hydraulics for Airbus and military systems. Having moved into IT 20 years ago, he was responsible for Professional Services teams in several ERP, Supply Chain Management and Content Management software companies in a variety of sectors including Central Government, FMCG, Automotive and Pharmaceutical. Gareth joined Artificial Solutions 8 years ago and has held several roles including Professional Services management, Global Pre-Sales and Innovation.
Gareth lives in Cheltenham, UK, and has two daughters at university reading Biomedical Science and Law.
Chris TewVP Sales - Asia Pacific
Chris Tew is VP Sales Asia Pacific at Artificial Solutions. With extensive experience of managing the APAC regional headquarters for several software businesses from his base in Singapore, Chris is leading the Company’s expansion across the region. His expertise at developing the sales operations in the APAC region is clearly demonstrated by his track record at Mediasurface, Alterian, SDL and 3radical. In addition, Chris’s software experience in digital marketing, data analytics and modelling in a wide number of industries is invaluable for leading the team in Singapore for Artificial Solutions. Chris has an MSc Advanced Manufacturing from Brunel University and a BSc in Production Engineering for Kingston University. A keen golfer, he lives in Singapore with his family.
Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Chris has spent almost his entire career in the IT industry. He brings a wealth of business and finance experience having held a variety of roles including VP Finance and more recently General Management.
He has extensive experience of working in International environments and particularly in Europe Middle East and Africa where he has managed finances and organizations in all of the major economies. As VP Finance Europe at Marcam, an International ERP vendor, he helped the Company grow from a start up to $25m t/o and eventual acquisition by Invensys. Later as Regional CEO at Systems Union he was part of the team that grew revenue to £40m in Europe and again prepared the Group for disposal.
His knowledge of the International Information Technology Market and the Finance and Business needs of those organizations mean he is ideally suited to support the growth of the Artificial Solutions.
Chris joined Artificial Solutions in January 2011.
