Artificial Solutions Expands Telco Division With New Appointments

Artificial Solutions, the natural language interaction specialist whose virtual assistants help companies optimize customer service, announced today two key appointments to its expanding Telco division. Glyn Stableford joins to spearhead the company’s sales activities into the mobile sector across EMEA and Asia whilst Jens Frenkel will focus on opportunities in DACH and Eastern Europe.

These new positions reflect the growing success the company has already achieved in the Telecom and Mobile sector where Artificial Solutions’ Natural Language Interaction (NLI) technology is revolutionising the way organisations are interacting with their customers online, increasing customer satisfaction and reducing costs. One such example is Emma, Telenor Sweden’s busiest customer service agent who answers nearly five thousand questions everyday on Telenor’s website. A Teneo Virtual Assistant, Emma has been shortlisted as a 2011 finalist in the Best Use of Technology category, in the European Call Centre and Customer Service Awards.

“Sectors that work on very tight margins such as the telco industry can achieve a significant advantage by enabling their customers to interact with technology via intelligent, humanlike, two way conversations across a range of channels using voice or text,” says Andy Peart, CMO of Artificial Solutions. “Emma is able to answer all kinds of questions from mobile services to troubleshooting SIM card issues, but equally a virtual assistant could help a customer decide between price plans or value added services.”

Jens Frenkel brings to Artificial Solutions over nineteen years international sales experience within the telecoms industry. With strong network of contacts to major mobile network operators (MNOs), Jens is responsible for Artificial Solutions activity in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and will also be instrumental in selling the company’s mobile proposition in Eastern Europe.

With extensive experience in selling value added services and business support solutions into MNOs,
Glyn Stableford is responsible for developing Artificial Solutions’ telco relationships within the UK, the Nordics, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. Focusing on the differentiation that Artificial Solutions’ technology offers MNOs, Glyn will demonstrate how providing real value and enhanced customer experience, leads to greater loyalty and customer satisfaction.
