Developer Kit Enables Bespoke Virtual Assistants on Any Mobile Platform
Artificial Solutions launched today the Teneo Toolkit, a suite of tools designed specifically for the developer community that enables the creation of intelligent, mobile virtual assistants on any platform, in astonishing short timescales.
Included in the toolkit is Artificial Solutions’ patented natural interaction engine that is at the heart of its natural language applications used by millions of people every year. The Teneo Interaction Engine enables Artificial Solutions’ virtual assistants to learn, reason and understand, and then apply this knowledge to real-life interactions such as booking a flight and crediting air miles in a back-end system, enabling gamers to converse naturally with AI controlled characters, or simply just sending an email using voice recognition.
In addition, developers will also gain access to Teneo Studio, Artificial Solutions’ intuitive tool that removes the need for developers to be linguistic experts by enabling non-technical users to create and develop a mobile virtual assistant. Teneo Studio’s easy to use flow chart structure makes adding new dialogues or updating the virtual assistant’s responses as simple as drag and drop, whilst one click publishing ensures any changes made are instantly available.
“Traditionally, building natural language virtual assistants whether for mobile apps or websites has been a time consuming process involving expensive resources, making them inaccessible except for projects such as web based customer service where the return on investment is significant,” says Lawrence Flynn, CEO of Artificial Solutions. “With Teneo Toolkit developers can now not only include natural language capabilities in their apps with ease, but enable them to react and interact intelligently with the user too.”
Teneo Toolkit includes everything a developer requires to build advanced NLI into their application or technology, plus testing, deployment, training and support tools and services. In the near future, Teneo Toolkit will be available to access via a dedicated online portal, allowing developers to build their application in the cloud in a completely “self-serve” environment. Currently in beta, the portal will make it even easier for developers to experiment with NLI.
