Hold the Front Page – Our Natural Language App Gets Latest News Feature
Artificial Solutions, the natural language interaction (NLI) specialist that enables users to have a meaningful, humanlike interaction with technology, announced today a new update for its personal assistant app that allows users to receive the latest news, gossip and sports headlines simply by asking.
The update, available on Android and Windows Phone allows users to easily keep informed of the news that interests them by asking questions such as ‘give me the latest technology news’ or ‘what’s the latest gossip on Kim Kardashian’. Our natural language app will then deliver the most relevant headlines allowing users to click through to the main story.
“This latest update that includes news headlines is one of the features users have been asking for as they become increasingly reliant on asking their phone for information,” says Andy Peart, CMO of Artificial Solutions. “Our natural language app pulls together data from multiple sources to deliver relevant content to users based on their location and the actual request.”
Our natural language app is the showcase for Artificial Solutions’ Teneo™ platform that enables developers to quickly and easily create language, platform and device independent virtual assistants. Our natural language app is capable of doing everything a user might expect of a personal assistant app from sending a message or giving directions to playing a tune. Unlike other personal assistant apps that are trapped on one device, Our natural language app has a memory, she knows a user’s preferences – their likes and dislikes, and because she knows who they are, she can follow them as they switch devices from a computer to a smartphone or tablet, regardless of manufacturer or operating system used. In addition, Our natural language app’s persistence capabilities enable a user to continue a conversation as they switch devices.
