Knowledge Engineer, Fred Roberts, honored as Outstanding Alumnus ’84 at NKU

Elbot's creator, Fred R. Roberts, has been acknowledged as Outstanding Alumnus '84 at Northern Kentucky University, College of Informatics.
The prize has been awarded because of Fred's excellent work in the field of artificial intelligence, specially his work in creating Elbot - a cutting edge chatbot using Artificial Solutions' Natural Language Processing tools. In 2008, Elbot became the bronze medal winner of the Loebner Contest.
Fred Roberts has been working as a Knowledge Engineer for Kiwilogic/Artificial Solutions since 2000 and is currently involved in several of Artificial Solutions' bigger projects.
