Could the year 2015 be the year that Elbot, and other chatterbots like him, will be able to think on the same level as humans?
This month's issue of the BBC FOCUS magazine for Science and Technology clearly thinks so in their article "Nothing is impossible", where they discuss what impossibilities science could make possible over the years to come.
Artificial Solutions' Elbot, is mentioned as an example of intelligent robots that might reach the same level of intelligent thought as a human in just six years time from now.
In 2008 Elbot won the renowned Loebner Prize, being the first bot to fool three of the judges into thinking that they were chatting with a human. This is one of many prizes that Elbot has won over the years and he is very much a showcase of Artificial Solutions' state-of-the-art technology in Natural Language Processing.
