Johan Åhlund

Co-founder & Board Director

Johan Åhlund is truly European, having lived and worked in various countries since he left Sweden 20 years ago. He is fluent in Swedish, English, Spanish, French and German. He majored in accounting and finance at the Stockholm School of Economics and when time permits, he enjoys sailing and skiing as his best way to relax.

He co-founded Artificial Solutions in 2001 and served as CEO until 2010; during these 9 years he worked to build the company into the international reference leader in Customer Service Optimization. Johan continues to be involved with the company from his position as non-excutive Director of the Board. He is also a board member of Europe's 500, the European organization and networking platform for growth companies and their entrepreneurs.

Prior to Artificial Solutions, Johan founded and spent 10 years at RealWorld Solutions. RealWorld primarily implemented J.D. Edwards ERP solutions for large multinational projects such as R.J. Reynolds, Waste Management, Wyeth, Benckiser, and Total. Before his time at RealWorld, Johan spent three years at ABB, where he was responsible for managing the group controlling systems and running ERP implementation projects in various countries.
